Here at Gozo Technical Diving you will find a choice of different TDI, SSI, RAZOR, RAID and PADI TECREC courses at diver and Instructor levels. Prices are the same for diver levels or Instructor levels.
We ensure quality throughout all of our training programs. We offer a very high level of instruction that is taught by highly qualified members of our team. Gozo Technical Diving also offers a full mixed gas blending station with 2 panels and a state-of-the-art filling station.
We don’t have fixed dates for courses as we start courses on a daily/weekly basis, please contact us for further information. In order to enroll in a Technical Diving Course, although it’s not mandatory, we highly advise you to take a medical check. We also offer you the possibility to do that here in Gozo at the Hyperbaric Medical Center. If you have no insurance we advise you to take a DAN or AQUAMED insurance or any other diving insurance that covers you for the level of the course you intend to enroll in.
Please note that your fees are not buying you a certification. We normally do not include certification fees in the course price, for a very good reason: certification is not guaranteed.
Technical diving by nature is more complicated and involves higher risk levels than recreational diving, and unlike some recreational diving courses, payment of fees does not imply automatic certification.
This does not mean that if, having completed the prescribed number of dives in the course outline that if you are unable to meet a required standard, you will not be able to pass the course. We will do our utmost to get your skills and knowledge up to scratch, and if this means extra dives or academic sessions, so be it. Please note that any extra dives will be charged at 200 or 270 euros (deco gas included).
All courses are coming with E-learning and the fees are following:
INSTRUCTION FEE IS CHARGED PER DAY OF TRAINING (minimum 1 DAY) and includes:
cylinders, deco gases, weights, transportation, rigging kits, deco regulators, Instructor gases and 18% vat.
NO HIDDEN COSTS!
STANDARD INSTRUCTION FEE is 200 euros per day, and it includes training, cylinders, weights, VDO’s filmed during the course, transportation to dive sites, deco gases for you and the Instructor and 18% VAT
INSTRUCTION FEE WITH TOM STEINER is 270 euros a day, and it includes training, cylinders, weights, deco gases, VDO’s filmed during the course, 18% VAT, Instructor gases and transportation to dive sites.
PRIVATE COURSE: is 400 euros a day including VAT.
Please note: Helium is NOT included and the price is 0.092 euros a liter including the O2 and the air fill top-up.
We ask for a 50% deposit (down payment) for any bookings, course(s) or guided dives.
Deposits are NON-refundable in case of no show, sickness, uncompleted course, or any other reason (deposits will be kept for any future trip or Instruction at our facility and is valid for a total period of 2 years)
